Banana Raita is an easy to make raita recipe which is made with banana and fresh curd tempered with mustard seeds. This recipe uses ripe bananas and creamy yogurt mixed together with some sugar for a sweet taste and green chilies which had some spice to it. It is further tempered with mustard seeds which gives it a nice flavor. This raita tastes very good as a side with chapatis and also tastes good to eat by itself.

Ingredients:
Over Ripe Bananas: 1 cup chopped into small pieces
Coriander: 2 tbsp finely chopped
Salt: a pinch
Sugar: 1 tbsp
Green Chilly: 1 slit vertically
Mustard Seeds: 1 tsp
Curd: 1 cup
Oil: 1 tsp
Method of Preparation:
- Mix together the curd, salt and sugar and beat well. I added 1 tbsp of water here to make it into a smooth mixture.
- Add coriander and green chilly and mix well.
- Add the chopped bananas and mix well.
- In a pan, heat 1 tsp of oil and once heated add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the mustard seeds to the banana curd mixture and mix well.
