Broccoli and Feta Cheese Frittata is a simple and yummy recipe which can be made for breakfast, served as an appetizer and even packed in a lunch box. So versatile!
Everyone in my house loves frittata. I cut it up into small triangles or squares and it can be enjoyed as is or with ketchup too! I make it quite often as it so filling and perfect to start your day with it.
Here is the step by step recipe for Broccoli and Feta Cheese Frittata with pictures
Serves: 4
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
Broccoli: 2 cups chopped
Onion: 1 medium finely chopped
Pepper Powder: 1/2 tsp + to taste
Chili Flakes: 1/2 tsp
Eggs: 8
Milk: 1/4 cup
Garlic: 2 cloves grated
Feta Cheese: 150 gms
Salt: to taste
Method of Preparation:
- Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees celcius.
- Heat Olive Oil in a pan. Add onion and saute till translucent.
- Add broccoli and stir fry till soft.
- Add salt, pepper and chili flakes and mix well.
- Beat together the eggs, milk, garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
- In a baking tray, add the broccoli onion mixture and spread it around.
- Pour the beaten eggs on top of the broccoli onion mix.
- Top with small pieces of feta cheese.
- Bake in oven for 20-30 minutes till the eggs are set.
