A very simple cheese omelette recipe which you can make for breakfast or as a snack. Serve with bread slices and you have an amazing breakfast ready.
You can add your own variations to the cheese omelette recipe – for e.g. skip the cheese if you do not like it, or maybe add garlic if you like it, etc.

Serves: 3 big omlettes
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
Eggs: 5
Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
Onion: 1 finely chopped
Tomato: 1 finely chopped
Cheese: 1/4 cup grated
Salt: to taste
Oil/Butter: to fry
Method of Preparation:
- Break the eggs into a bowl and beat well.
- Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, onion, tomato and salt and beat well.
- Heat oil/butter in a flat frying pan and spread around to grease the pan properly. Pour 2 ladleful of eggs mixture over the pan and spread around.
- Sprinkle grated cheese over it.
- Cook the cheese omlette till golden brown on both sides.
Serve with toasted bread and tomato ketchup
