Pav Bhaji is a very popular snack among people of all generations. And of course, a great way to feed veggies to fussy eaters. This is an easy to make Pav Bhaji recipe which you are sure to enjoy.
Ingredients
  • Onions: 2 big finely chopped
  • Tomatoes: 2 big finely chopped
  • Capsicum: ½ finely chopped
  • Carrot: 2 small
  • Cauliflower: 1 small
  • Green peas: 1 cup
  • Garlic: 4-5 cloves finely chopped
  • Potatoes: 2 big
  • Coriander: ¼ cup finely chopped
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
  • Chilli Powder: 2 tsp
  • Everest Pav Bhaji Masala: 2-3 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
Instructions
  1. Cut the potatoes, carrots and cauliflower into big pieces. Boil them till completely soft. Boil the green peas separately.
  2. Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic till translucent.
  3. Add the tomatoes and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, pav bhaji masala and salt. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Grind half of the onion-tomato mixture to paste. Add it to the rest of the onion-tomato mixture and mix well.
  6. Mash the boiled veggies and add to onion-tomato mixture. Add around ¼ cup of water. Cook with closed lid for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
  7. Add coriander and capsicum and cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve with onion and lemon wedges.
