Green Peas Kebab is another healthy and tasty green peas recipe which is very simple and serves as a great appetizer
Ingredients
Green peas: 1 cup frozen
Cashew nuts: 12
Garlic: 10 cloves
Ginger: 1 inch piece
Green Chilies: 2-3
Coriander: ¼ cup
Onion: 1 small finely chopped
Besan(Chickpea flour): 4 tsp
Rice flour: 4 tsp
Lime juice: 1 tsp
Salt: to taste
Cornflakes: 1 cup crushed
Oil: to fry
Instructions
Powder the cashew nuts. Keep aside.
Grind the ginger, garlic, green chilies and coriander to a paste. Add this to the powdered cashew nuts.
Soak the green peas for 5 minutes in warm water. Drain all the water and grind the green peas to coarse paste. Add to the cashew nuts-coriander mixture.
Add onion, besan, rice flour, lime juice and salt to taste. Mix well. If the mixture looks too wet, add a little more rice flour.
Divide mixture into 10-12 small balls.
Take a portion and flatten it to make kebab. Roll in crushed cornflakes.
Heat oil in a flat frying pan and shallow fry on low heat till golden brown on all sides.
