Green Peas Kebab is another healthy and tasty green peas recipe which is very simple and serves as a great appetizer
Ingredients
  • Green peas: 1 cup frozen
  • Cashew nuts: 12
  • Garlic: 10 cloves
  • Ginger: 1 inch piece
  • Green Chilies: 2-3
  • Coriander: ¼ cup
  • Onion: 1 small finely chopped
  • Besan(Chickpea flour): 4 tsp
  • Rice flour: 4 tsp
  • Lime juice: 1 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Cornflakes: 1 cup crushed
  • Oil: to fry
Instructions
  1. Powder the cashew nuts. Keep aside.
  2. Grind the ginger, garlic, green chilies and coriander to a paste. Add this to the powdered cashew nuts.
  3. Soak the green peas for 5 minutes in warm water. Drain all the water and grind the green peas to coarse paste. Add to the cashew nuts-coriander mixture.
  4. Add onion, besan, rice flour, lime juice and salt to taste. Mix well. If the mixture looks too wet, add a little more rice flour.
  5. Divide mixture into 10-12 small balls.
  6. Take a portion and flatten it to make kebab. Roll in crushed cornflakes.
  7. Heat oil in a flat frying pan and shallow fry on low heat till golden brown on all sides.
