Banana Raita is an easy to make raita recipe which is made with banana and fresh curd tempered with mustard seeds.
Ingredients
  • Ingredients:
  • Over Ripe Bananas: 1 cup chopped into small pieces
  • Coriander: 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Sugar: 1 tbsp
  • Green Chilly: 1 slit vertically
  • Mustard Seeds: 1 tsp
  • Curd: 1 cup
  • Oil: 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. Mix together the curd, salt and sugar and beat well. I added 1 tbsp of water here to make it into a smooth mixture.
  2. Add coriander and green chilly and mix well.
  3. Add the chopped bananas and mix well.
  4. In a pan, heat 1 tsp of oil and once heated add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  5. Add the mustard seeds to the banana curd mixture and mix well.
