Chicken Cutlets

Chicken Cutlets are simple and delicious chicken patties which are perfect as an appetizer or a lunch box snack.
Ingredients
  • Chicken: 500 gm breast pieces
  • Curd: 3 tbsp
  • Onion: 1 medium finely chopped
  • Green chilies: 2 finely chopped
  • Ginger: 1 tbsp grated
  • Coriander: ¼ cup chopped
  • Chili Powder: 1.5 tsp
  • Garam Masala: 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: ½ tsp
  • Bread Crumbs: 1 and ½ cup
  • Egg: 1
  • Salt: to taste
Instructions
  1. Cut chicken into small pieces. Apply curd and salt to the chicken and mix well. Place the chicken in a pan and close the lid. Let the chicken cook completely. Do not add any extra water here.
  2. Once chicken is cooked, drain the excess water. In a food processor, process the chicken finely.
  3. To the chicken, add onion, green chilies, ginger, coriander, chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, ½ cup bread crumbs and salt. Mix well.
  4. Divide the mixture into 15 portions and shape into cutlets..
  5. Beat the egg in a bowl and in another plate, put the remaining bread crumbs.
  6. Dip each cutlet in the egg mixture and then roll it in the bread crumbs
  7. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the cutlets till golden brown on all sides.
