Kiwi Orange Salad – a super easy and super yummy salad recipe which is sure to be a hit! The dressing made of ginger, honey and lemon juice adds so much flavor to this salad that it is difficult to resist. We specially love the taste brought in by the ginger 🙂
Kiwi and orange are two fruits which are rich in vitamin C and provide a variety of health benefits. They are both rich in anti-oxidants and should be made a part of our regular diet. A couple of days back, I found myself with an access of kiwis and oranges which were ripe and ready to be eaten. I tried out this dressing and tossed in the kiwi and oranges and the result was amazing!
Here is the step by step recipe for Kiwi Orange Salad:
Serves: 2-3
Preparation Time:Â 10 minutes
Ingredients:
Kiwis: 5 peeled and cut into small pieces
Oranges: 3 deseeded and cut into small pieces
Lemon Juice: 2 tbsp
Virgin Olive Oil: 1 tbsp
Honey: 2 tbsp
Ginger: 3 tsp grated
Brown sugar: 1 tbsp
Almonds: 12 Roasted and finely chopped
Method of Preparation:
- Mix together all the ingredients for the dressing i.e. virgin olive oil, honey, ginger and brown sugar and mix well.
- Toss in the kiwi and orange pieces and mix well so that it is evenly coated.
- Garnish with the almonds and serve.
