Dahi Palak is one of my favorite preparations of Palak which I have learnt from my mom. The garlic (Lehsun in hindi) adds a very nice taste to this dish.
Not everyone likes Palak. But I have been lucky that my family enojys it and I dont really have to make too much of an effort to include it in their diet. Whether it is Mutter palak or Palak Paneer or Chicken Saagwala or Chicken and Spinach Stuffed buns or Palak Parathas, I can be sure it will be enjoyed.
Last week I ended up with excess of Palak in my fridge as my husband and I both picked it not knowing that the other has 🙂 I made Mutter Palak once and now had to decide what to make with the rest of the palak. And suddenly I remembered that I had not made Dahi Palak for a long time. It is so simple to make that I started wondering why I dont make it more often. It tastes best with rotis or as a side dish with rice and curry.Hope you like it 🙂
