Pizza Dosa is a very simple recipe which provides an awesome combination of the conventional dosa with delicious pizza toppings, making it a very healthy snack or lunch/dinner option for kids and adults alike.
I am in the process of posting a series of recipes for fussy eaters (Fussy Eaters Series). Here I include recipes which help sneak in less liked foods with foods which kids enjoy and also healthier versions of junk food. This recipe of Pizza Dosa is another addition to that list.
I had some left over dosa batter in the fridge which I wanted to finish. Also, my daughter has suddenly become very fussy while eating. I have to keep experimenting with new recipes for her nowadays. I suddenly got the idea for making dosa with pizza toppings for her and it turned out so good, that the adults in the house too loved it.
When kids are bored of the typical food, pizza dosa is a wonderful recipe to try. Most kids love pizza and since dosa is so healthy, this combination just does the trick. It makes the moms happy to serve their kids dosa loaded with veggies and cheese, yet the kids are happy as the taste is very similar to pizza. I believe this recipe of pizza dosa is perfect for fussy eaters. It is something different, and tasty.
Look at the vegetables and melted cheese…looks yummy doesn’t it?
