This Simple Capsicum Sabzi is a no onion, no garlic recipe which serves as a very good accompaniment with a meal of rice, curry, papad etc.
This is my favorite sabzi to make on the days when we do not eat onion and garlic. It is very easy to make and requires very few ingredients. It goes very well with rotis as well as rice.
Serves: 2-3
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minute
Ingredients:
Capsicum : 2
Mustard seeds : 1/4 tsp
Hing : Pinch
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder : 1/2 tsp
Besan : 2 heaped tbsp
Salt : to taste
Method of Preparation:
- Heat a little oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds and hing to it.Let splutter. Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and chopped capsicum and stir fry for a while. Add little water and close lid till capsicum gets cooked.
- Stir the besan in a little water to make paste. Add this to (1) and mix well. Close lid and let cook.
