Here is a very easy to make and yummy Strawberry muffins recipe using fresh strawberries.
I always have strawberries in my fridge in the strawberry season as it is my daughters favorite fruit. This strawberry season, I decided to make some recipes with strawberries apart from eating them directly.
So, here it is – A tempting and simple strawberry dessert to try in the strawberry season – Strawberry Muffins. Hope you like it 🙂
Makes: 12 muffins
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
Strawberries: 1 and 1/2 cups finely chopped
All Purpose flour: 1 and 1/2 cup
Sugar: 2/3 cup
Vegetable oil: 1/3 cup
Eggs: 2
Baking Soda: 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon Powder: 1/2 tsp
Salt: to taste
Method of Preparation:
- Place strawberries in a pan and add 3 tbsp sugar to it. Let it cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Mix together all the ingredients mentioned above including the strawberry mixture.
- Line the muffin cups with paper baking cups or just grease the muffin cups. You can use ALDA Muffin Tray for 6 Muffins Bakeware here
- Put the muffin batter in the muffin cup to make it 2/3 full.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for around 10-15 minutes. You know the muffin is cooked if a toothpick inserted in the muffin comes out clean.
