Teesryache Sukhe or Clams Dry Masala is one of the tastiest and easiest Goan preparations which is a treat for all seafood lovers. And the best part is it is completely oil-free. Any fish can be used for this preparation like pompfret, lady fish, kingfish. Sukhe can also be made with shellfish like prawns, clams or crabs. This recipe is for Clams dry masala commonly called as Teesryache Sukhe in Goa.
Here is the step by step recipe for Clams Dry Masala or Teesryache Sukhe with pictures:
Serves: 4-5
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
Scrapped Coconut: 1/2 cup
Kokum(Solan): 6-8
Onion: 2 small finely chopped
Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
Chili Powder: 1-2 tsp
Garam Masala: 1 tsp
Green Chilly: 2 slit vertically
Salt: 2 tsp
Clams: 2 kg (Only half the shell with the meat is used)
Potato: 1 small chopped into small pieces
Coriander: 4 tbsp finely chopped
Method of Preparation:
- Mix all ingredients together and place in a pan with little water (3/4-1 cup).
- Close lid and let cook till potato and clams are completely cooked.
